How the estimate works
The estimator starts from typical US retail ranges for each fiber, then applies multipliers for length (more hair, more money), cap construction (hand work is the expensive part), and sales channel (local fitting service and custom medical work carry real overhead). Full reference tables are in the cost guide. If the result is out of budget, remember that insurance may cover a cranial prosthesis for medical hair loss.
